Regarding the SISIP Clawback
THE
RALLY OF SUPPORT FOR OUR VETERANS WAS A RALLY OF AWARENESS AND A CALL FOR
SUPPORT. TO HAVE A FIRM AND STRONG COMMITMENT; NOT WORDS, BUT A CONCRETE
PLATFORM FOR THE WELFARE AND WELL-BEING OF OUR VETERANS. WHILE THERE IS SOME
PROTESTING OF RECENT ISSUES INCLUDING THE NEW VETERANS CHARTER AND THE DETAILS
OF THE OMBUDSMAN'S REPORT AND THE SHORTCOMINGS HE ADDRESSED REGARDING THE
TREATMENT OF BOTH OLDER AND YOUNGER VETERANS, THE RALLY WAS A CALL FOR AWARENESS
AND NATIONAL SUPPORT. AS VETERANS AND THOSE THAT COME OUT TO SUPPORT OUR
VETERANS

A "Veteran" --
whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve
-- is someone who, at one point in his or her life, wrote a
blank check
made payable to "Canada," for an amount "up to and
including"
their life.
